Food testing laboratory
Seeking an Administration and Laboratory Officer to join the team
Based close to Melbourne CBD
6-month casual contract
Full-time hours, Monday-Friday

Duties/responsibilities:
Maintain the physical laboratory stores
Monthly stock take of laboratory stores
Undertake the procurement of supplies, minor equipment and store inventory
Liase with suppliers to obtain quotations and review pricing.
Maintain the stock of laboratory coats including keeping tidy stocks and fitting new staff with appropriate coats.
Reception duties including but not limited to answering phones, greeting visitors and assisting set ups for site meetings.
Other administration tasks that may include client invoicing using the LIMS system and other ad hoc tasks under the direction of the Administration Officers and/or Administration Manager.

Skills/responsibilities:
Experience in a laboratory and / or warehouse setting
Demonstrated customer service skills including oral and written communication
A valuable knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Products including excel.




Planning work goals and setting priorities within area of responsibility including the capacity to organise own work.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High attention to detai
