An excellent prospect for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join a growing business and support a broad range of finance, reporting, payroll, and compliance activities.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team, The A Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across financial reporting, payroll, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and business support. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities include
Process fortnightly payroll accurately and within required time frames.
Assist Financial Controller in the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting is accurate.
Manage the fixed asset register and support capital expenditure reporting.




Maintain the general ledger and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with the annual year-end audit process.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis activities.
Assist with preparation of the company’s Sustainability Report.
Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting systems, reporting processes and finance workflows.
Build robust working relationships with internal stakeholders and provide practical finance support across the business.
Support the Financial Controller and CFO with ad-hoc finance duties and business improvement projects as required.

Pay: $61,000.00 – $93,000.00 per year
