We are seeking a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our busy, contemporary multi-chair practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical setting and being part of a supportive professional team.
About Humpty Doo Dental
We are a privately owned multi-chair practice located in Darwin's rural area with normal operating hours of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday only.
You will be part of a team that strives to provide an excellent standard of care in both general and paediatric dentistry. Our passionate and supportive clinicians have a strong focus on making anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease in the dental setting whilst achieving positive dental outcomes for our patients. We also pride ourselves on fostering a positive workplace culture.
The role will include
Chairside assistance across a range of general and paediatric dental procedures including the use of nitrous oxide
Preparing and sterilising instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Setting up, cleaning down and general upkeep of surgeries
Assisting with patient care before,
during and after treatment
Helping to maintain accurate clinical records
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy practice
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting highly desirable or previous experience preferred
Experience with Dental 4 Windows is preferred but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A professional, empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to work efficiently in a multi-chair environment
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
