Our client, a leading global mining company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their Brisbane CBD finance team on a casual full-time contract through to the end of the year. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong SAP experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function.
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices while maintaining solid relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
High-volume invoice processing, coding and matching
Supplier statement reconciliations
Investigation and resolution of invoice discrepancies
Processing payment runs
Managing vendor queries and maintaining supplier relationships
Updating and maintaining supplier records within SAP
Collaborating with stakeholders across nine finance teams
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
The Candidate To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable position
Strong SAP experience (essential)
Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Robust communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Working Arrangement
Hybrid model: 2 days working from home and 3 days working from the office
Thursday is a mandatory in-office day
For the first month, you will be required to work full-time from the office to support onboarding, training, system familiarisation and integration with the team
