Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter An opportunity is available for experienced Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to join a growing, family-owned WA engineering business working across the defence, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing and commercial marine industries. We are looking for reliable, safety-focused tradespeople who take pride in their work and are seeking a long-term career.
Key Requirements
Trade qualified Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent).
Boilermakers: Experience with FCAW, GTAW and GMAW welding and competent in 1G, 2G, 5G and 6G welding positions.
Mechanical Fitters: Experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, maintenance and interpreting engineering drawings, with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Current WA C Class Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
Current White Card.
Forklift, EWP,
Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets are advantageous.
Experience in workshop and site environments.
Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and teamwork.
Permanent Australian working rights.
Ability to pass pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol screening, and Defence workforce screening, including identity, work rights and criminal history checks.
