Gippsland Body Builders are currently looking for a welder / fabricator with relevant experience to join their busy team.
Roles available for immediate start.
The desired applicant's role will involve:
Fabricating tipping bodies from aluminium & steel
Fabricating trailer chassis from aluminium & steel
Truck chassis alterations & towbar installations
Trailer repair work & alterations
Fabricating componentry for all aspects of trailers & trucks
Desirable attributes, but not essential, include:
Experience in heavy vehicle fabrication
Experience in heavy vehicle maintenance / service and repair
General knowledge of the heavy vehicle/transport industry
A willingness to improve your skill set and grow within the business
Knowledge and understanding of OH&S; legislation
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Desired (but not essential) licenses & qualifications:
Cert 3 in Engineering & metal fabrication (or equivalent experience)
Current forklift License
