TITLE: Casual Event Chef

HOURS: Casual

We're after passionate, skilled Catering Chefs to jump into our Eveleigh kitchen on an as-needed basis - think event days, big catering weeks, and those "all hands on deck" moments alongside our talented Head Chef and crew.

This one's perfectly suited to someone already working elsewhere and after some extra shifts, or someone dipping a toe back into the workforce and wanting something versatile, fun, and genuinely meaningful. No 9-to-5 grind here - just great food, positive people, and real impact, whenever you're free.

KEY TO SUCCESS:
Lead by Example. Culture matters here. We're after someone calm, professional, and a great communicator - especially working alongside the women in our employment pathways program.
Systems and Process Oriented. Comfortable managing catering orders independently,



following the Head Chef's lead, and keeping things consistent, secure, and on-standard.
Work with Empathy. You'll be working in a kitchen alongside people from vulnerable backgrounds, so a sensitive, supportive approach is a must.
You're community-minded. You want your work to actually mean something - this role is all about positive social impact.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Solid time management, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience in a busy, high-standard kitchen.
Commercial Cookery qualifications (or equivalent industry experience) plus a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
A positive handle on food safety standards.
Self-motivated with a sharp eye for detail - especially under pressure.
Comfortable getting stuck into high-volume catering projects.
A professional, presentable approach on the tools.
