We are seeking a number of experienced Carers with a Certificate III in Aged Care to undertake the role of a Carer at The Village on a casual basis.
The successful candidates will be available to work at least three weekdays and be adaptable to work night shifts as required.
The role entails providing care to residents as a member of the care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide person centred care which includes:
Empowering our residents to ensure their choices and preferences are met, including serving food and feeding residents when required
Assisting residents with their daily care needs
Assisting residents to participate in activities
You will bring:

A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in an aged care or community health setting and an understanding of issues relating to dementia care
Previous working knowledge of the aged care industry and person-centred care
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
Confidence working in a adaptable team workplace
Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate computer literacy
Ability to speak other languages (desirable but not essential)
