Role Description This part-time Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role at AM GROUP SA is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site work and some work from home.

The Data

Analyst will support data collection, cleaning, and validation activities to ensure accurate and reliable data sets.

Responsibilities include assisting in building basic reports and dashboards, preparing data summaries, and supporting routine data analysis for business stakeholders. The role involves documenting processes, maintaining data records, and collaborating with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into simple analytical outputs. The analyst will also help monitor key metrics, identify data issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of data workflows.

Qualifications

Foundational skills in data collection, cleaning, validation, and basic analysis using spreadsheets or entry-level analytics tools.Ability to create and interpret simple reports, charts, and dashboards,



with attention to accuracy and detail.Solid numerical and analytical thinking, with the capacity to identify patterns, trends, and data quality issues.Transparent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and collaborate effectively with colleagues.Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and document processes in a structured manner.Comfort working in a hybrid environment, including time on-site in Sydney, NSW and working from home as required.Relevant education in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (degree, diploma, or equivalent experience).Familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and an interest in learning analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).Curiosity and a willingness to learn recent tools, techniques, and data concepts, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
