About the Opportunity A hands-on role in the advanced manufacturing and operational excellence sector, supporting on-site continuous improvement across production, quality and supply chain functions in Australia. This internship exposes you to lean transformation, data-driven process improvement and Kaizen-led project delivery within a rapid-paced engineering environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analysing process data to identify waste and performance gaps.
Develop process maps and value stream maps to document current-state workflows and propose targeted improvements.
Assist in planning and executing Kaizen events, 5S implementations and pilot improvements on the shop floor.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring defects or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare clear dashboards, dashboards and presentation-ready reports using Excel/BI tools to communicate results to stakeholders.
Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to support change implementation and sustainment activities.

Currently enrolled in an engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing or related degree (undergraduate/graduate).
