Hamilton North Bowling Club is a well-established registered club at the heart of our local community. We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Bartender to join our team and help us deliver a excellent experience for members and guests every day.
About the Role
We're after an enthusiastic Bartender who can turn their hand to all areas of front-of-house club operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in service standards, works well in a team, and is comfortable juggling a variety of duties across a busy shift.
Day-to-day you'll be:
Operating TAB and Keno terminals for members and guests
Pouring beers, wines, and preparing a range of beverages to a high standard
Stocking and rotating fridges, and packing away stock deliveries
Assisting members with gaming machines, including basic troubleshooting and payouts
Maintaining our club's cleaning and presentation standards across the bar and gaming areas
Potentially driving our courtesy bus to pick up and drop off members (if you hold the appropriate licence)
General bar duties including cash handling,
glass collection, and opening/closing procedures
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a bar, club, or hospitality setting (essential)
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) certificate
ARCG (Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling) Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
A current driver's licence (light rigid or bus licence highly regarded, but not essential)
A friendly, approachable manner and genuine passion for customer service
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Flexibility to work a roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
A team player who takes initiative and pitches in wherever needed
