About the Role The Casual Relief Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality teaching and supervision in the absence of the classroom teacher.

Casual Relief

Teachers support the Catholic identity, values and vision of the school while ensuring a safe, positive and engaging learning environment for all students. They are expected to maintain continuity of learning and uphold the qualified standards and expectations of the school. Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include - To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people; - Deliver learning experiences in accordance with the lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
Maintain a positive and productive learning setting that supports student engagement and wellbeing.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students where appropriate; - Use positive behaviour management strategies consistent with the school's policies and procedures - Promote student participation, independence and respectful relationships.
