I’m partnering with a national firm as they continue to grow their Corporate & Commercial practice nationally. This is an chance to join a cooperative team working across private M&A; transactions.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a strong national practice, working closely with reputable Partners on both significant transactions and smaller deals where you’ll have space to step up and take ownership. The team operates as one unified national group - so while you'll sit in Sydney, you’ll work with colleagues and partners across Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra on matters involving major corporates, private equity and growth‑stage businesses.

The Role
Run key workstreams on private M&A; transactions
Support on larger, more complex deals across jurisdictions
Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements
Lead due diligence and advisory pieces
Mentor juniors and help shape the team’s ongoing growth

What You’ll Bring
3+ PQE in corporate/M&A; from a leading commercial firm
Experience across private M&A;,



JVs, shareholder agreements, due diligence and corporate advisory
Strong drafting and analytical skills
Confidence managing competing deadlines and client expectations
An interest in contributing to a supportive, high‑performing team culture
