Our client in Welshpool seeks Trade Assistants to manufacture large hydraulic hoses. Monday to Friday, 6 am-2.30 pm, $37 per hour plus penalties for any overtime.

Daily duties for manufacturing hoses:
Manufacturing hoses using rubber compounds, reinforcement materials (such as polyester, rayon, or aramid fibres), and metal components.
Operating production equipment, including hose winding machines, extrusion equipment, and vulcanisation/autoclave systems.
Quality control and testing to ensure hoses meet pressure, wear, temperature, and safety specifications.
Assembly and fitting of hose end connections, flanges, and couplings before final inspection and dispatch.





Who fits best?

If you’re:
Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents
Knowledgeable in process operating, manufacturing, hose assembly or rubber production operator
Able to read basic plans
Have an open Driver's Licence
Eager to learn, ask questions, and show you’re coachable (most significant!)
Punctual, reliable and a communicator (attitude beats years on the tools)
Comfortable taking instructions and keen to evolve with the crew
