Maintenance / Factory Supervisor

Based in Wangara, Britone is seeking a highly motivated, multi-skilled individual with a strong mechanical background to assist with maintaining factory equipment and supervising factory staff to achieve daily production goals while working to strict targets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Factory Manager on a day-to-day basis.
Manage the preventive maintenance program and internal equipment checks to maximise machine performance and output quality.

You must be mechanically/technically minded and capable of:
Fixing machine breakdowns.
Sourcing parts when required.
Maintaining critical spare parts inventory.
Carrying out machine maintenance and servicing.

You must be able to:
Problem solve and troubleshoot effectively.
Delegate staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure all work is performed to the required quality standards, OHS standards, and production efficiencies are maintained.
Work in conjunction with the Factory Manager, Purchasing,



Sales and Scheduling departments.
Possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and motivate others.
Demonstrate effective communication skills, solid leadership abilities, and a positive attitude with a desire to get things done.
Be willing to work overtime when required.

Requirements:
Hands-on experience with machinery and maintenance.
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role, with extensive hands-on experience in a manufacturing and/or fabrication-related industry.
Proven ability to lead a team and consistently meet deadlines and production targets.
A stable employment history with demonstrated experience leading a diverse team.
Proven ability to deliver excellent service while following procedures and complying with company requirements and quality standards.
The ability to remain calm and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Desirable:
Electrical knowledge
Forklift License
