Nolan Meats Pty Ltd is a progressive, innovative family company employing in excess of 400 employees. We are looking for a cheerful, conscientious, food and hospitality minded person to join our team. The position is full time and located at Tuchekoi, approximately 20 minutes from Gympie, Qld. We are seeking a cook to cater evening meals with set menu’s rostered from 2-10pm, Monday to Friday – no weekend work.

The Role:
Nolan Meats has recently purchased a commercial style accommodation facility to cater to our growing workforce. The facility provides meals for its’ residents which has created an opening for someone with a desire and passion for food preparation in a multicultural environment.

Day to day duties include:
Preparation of nutritious meals for up to 100 people
Menu planning to maximise use of ingredients (reduce wastage)
Preparation of budgets, grocery lists and supplies




Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and food storage areas

The successful candidate will:
Have experience in a similar role
Be passionate about producing quality and nutritious meals
Be a self-starter
Demonstrate excellent time management and organisation skills
Have an understanding of or qualification in food hygiene practices

Prior to commencement, all recent Team Members are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
