About the Role
You'll be responsible for identifying and evaluating renewable energy projects (Solar PV + BESS) for acquisition, from early-stage development opportunities through to shovel-ready assets. Working closely with the existing team, you'll lead acquisition opportunities from initial assessment through due diligence, commercial negotiations and transaction completion.
This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys combining technical understanding with commercial acumen to help shape a high-quality renewable energy portfolio.
Responsibilities
Identify and originate Solar PV and BESS acquisition opportunities across Australia
Evaluate projects from technical, commercial, financial and regulatory perspectives
Prepare investment papers and recommendations for senior management
Support commercial negotiations
About You
Tertiary qualifications in relative discipline
Experience assessing Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage projects.
Robust understanding of the Australian electricity market and renewable energy development lifecycle
Commercial due diligence and project valuation experience
Financial modelling and analytical skills
Negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
Ability to interpret technical, planning and commercial information to support investment decisions
