Our client is seeking experienced Grounds Persons to assist with duties in roles located across Darwin and Greater Darwin areas

On a day to day basis, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Using mowers, slashers, trimmers, hedging equipment to maintain the upkeep of public grounds
Watering grounds and maintaining sprinkler system
Apply pesticides for the purpose of controlling insects and weeds
Providing for the general upkeep of the grounds including litter removal
Operating tractors where required on the grounds
Store and maintain all custodial equipment in a protected manner and operating condition
Cleaning of general areas and accommodations

To be considered for this role, you should:
Have experience and knowledge of the protected operation of slashers,



trimmers, mowers, chainsaws and other related equipment
Have experience with groundskeeping, landscaping and maintenance duties
Have Experience operating tractors
Possess knowledge and understanding of secure chemical use
Own your own PPE
Have a current Driver's License and own transport
Provide us with a current National Police Check
