Parts Collection Driver

Position Summary

The Parts Collection Driver is responsible for the protected and timely collection and delivery of parts, consumables, and equipment between suppliers, workshops, and operational sites. The role supports workshop and operational efficiency by ensuring required materials are collected accurately, delivered promptly, and documented correctly.

Key Responsibilities
Collect and deliver parts, tools, consumables, and equipment as directed.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on schedule.
Verify parts against purchase orders, invoices, or delivery dockets.
Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and receipts.
Assist workshop and stores personnel with loading and unloading items.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Ensure company vehicles are kept clean, fuelled, and maintained.
Liaise professionally with suppliers and clients.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Assist with general yard, or workshop duties when required.




Maintain awareness of stock shortages and advise supervisors where necessary.

Skills and Experience
Current valid driver’s licence.
Previous experience in a delivery, transport, warehouse, or parts role preferred.
Basic understanding of vehicle or machinery parts advantageous.
Positive communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Capable of manual handling tasks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Requirements
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing if required.
Forklift licence essential.
Knowledge of local roads, industrial areas, and supplier locations advantageous.

Work Setting

This role involves regular driving, manual handling, and interaction with workshops, warehouses, suppliers, and operational sites. Some overtime or flexible hours may be required to meet operational demands.
