About the role

Our dermatology practice is seeking a part time nurse to join our team every Friday. We would also value someone who is adaptable to cover sick and annual leave during the week. This role would suit a nurse who is not looking for full time hours and enjoys working in a small but welcoming close-knit practice.

What you'll be doing
Wound care (suture removal and dressings) for patients who have undergone complex surgical reconstructions including skin flaps and grafts
Administering phototherapy to patients
Setting up for biopsy and surgical excisions
Assisting doctors with procedures
Contacting patients to deliver results
Educating patients on skin care, treatment plans, and post-operative care
Cleaning and sterilising surgical equipment
Covering for front of house when required (reception, answering calls etc)

What we're looking for
Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)



with a current AHPRA registration
Interest in wound management and nursing best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients, doctors, and other healthcare teams
Experience in Genie medical software will be highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team setting
Committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care

The ideal candidate should be a quick learner and a team player with a “can do" attitude. The clinic can get very busy at times and the candidate must be able to prioritise their work in a calm and structured manner whilst always giving pleasant and friendly care to our patients.
