Greenlight is an Environmental and Occupational Hygiene consultancy operating across Melbourne, covering asbestos and hazardous materials assessments, occupational hygiene & workplace safety.
Due to continued demand for our services, Greenlight is seeking an experienced full-time Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Consultant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct asbestos and hazardous materials audits across various building types
Review asbestos and hazardous materials reports to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
Provide oversight of asbestos removal projects, monitoring work quality and safety
Undertake asbestos air monitoring
Carry out asbestos clearance inspections
You’ll Need to Be Able To:
Work within a team to deliver a range of services, while independently managing field assignments
Communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
Adapt to recent technologies, methods, and services as they are introduced
Be adaptable with working hours (some early starts, weekends, or regional travel required)

Minimum Requirements
Licensed Asbestos Assessor or relevant Asbestos Qualifications
Full C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
Robust work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to travel throughout Melbourne and occasionally to regional or interstate sites
A tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Engineering or Occupational Hygiene will be highly regarded, but is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with strong industry experience who may not hold a degree.
