Responsibilities:
Provide emotional and practical support to clients in their daily activities.
Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in accessing community resources and services.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and care plans.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Encourage clients to engage in social and recreational activities.
Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour.
Qualifications:
A relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support).
Previous experience in a support or care role is preferred.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient attitude towards clients.
Basic first aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
