The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Finance Analyst to play a critical role in driving strategic financial decisions through insightful analysis, forecasting and reporting. The role will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to support business growth and operational efficiency. It is a hybrid role with occasional attendance on the Somersby site.
Main Responsibilities
Analyse financial data and trends to support strategic planning and decision‑making
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards
Develop financial models to forecast revenue, expenses and profitability
Monitor key performance indicators and provide variance analysis
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
Support cost‑benefit analysis for new initiatives and investments
Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
Ideal Candidate
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to process and analyse large datasets quickly and effectively
Ability to manage own workload, meet deadlines and remain focused
Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, planning and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders internal and external to Dechra
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) – desirable
Prior experience with data modelling and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) – desirable
Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages – desirable
