The Manager at Rosehall Aggregation plays a crucial role in supporting the management team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is a hands-on position, and essential for maintaining the standards of our business and fostering a positive work setting. The Manager will plan daily activities, manage staff, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, assisting with recent project development and infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Plan and carry out work as per operational plan.
Carry out all facets of livestock husbandry.
Supervise and train staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational efficiency including leading Work Place Health and Safety initiatives.
Assist in data entry,
feed budgeting and assessing nutritional requirements.
Manage Biosecurity and weed infestations.
Manage the maintenance and service of plant and machinery.
Opportunity for Equine management but not essential.
Foster a positive team workplace and promote effective communication among staff.
Qualifications and Key Attributes:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience, 2 years in leadership roles.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role,
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient Livestock and farm management
Degree qualified or Trades highly regarded.
Curious and life long learner.
Ability to adapt and apply new technology, ideas and skills.
Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
