Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Painter to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a supervisor to complete painting works across a range of residential and commercial projects.
Duties
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, filling, and priming
Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using appropriate tools and equipment
Interpret basic drawings, plans, and job specifications to complete work
Follow instructions and ensure work meets required quality standards
Maintain safe work practices in office in accordance with WHS requirements
Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
Requirements
Certificate III in Painting & Decorating
Minimum 1 year relevant full-time experience
Knowledge of painting processes, materials, and equipment
Ability to read and interpret job specifications
Ability to work effectively within a team
Good communication skills
White Card required
