Our client who specialises in asbestos removal, demolition and soil remediation across industrial, commercial and residential sectors is seeking non-friable class b asestos removalists for their project in Wallsend.

Key Responsibilities
Safely remove and dispose of non-friable (Class B) asbestos-containing materials in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
Set up and dismantle asbestos removal work areas, including exclusion zones and signage.
Wear and maintain the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE).
Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), asbestos removal control plans and workplace procedures.
Conduct decontamination procedures for personnel, equipment and work areas.
Complete site documentation, including daily records and asbestos removal paperwork.




Assist with general demolition and labouring duties where required.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work setting.
Adhere to all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and environmental regulations.

About You
Current Class B (Non-Friable) Asbestos Removal Licence or recognised competency.
Previous experience in non-friable asbestos removal.
Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Strong understanding of asbestos removal legislation and safe work practices.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
Current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred).

Highly Regarded
Asbestos Supervisor Licence.
Working at Heights ticket.
Confined Space ticket.
EWP, forklift or other construction-related licences.
Demolition or civil construction experience.
