Force is on the hunt for a skilled and motivated NDT Technician to join our Forrestfield Components Workshop team. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of mining equipment through advanced non-destructive testing methods.

Working closely with the Workshop Manager and key stakeholders, you’ll inspect, assess, and report on equipment integrity - helping prevent failures, reduce downtime, and maintain the highest safety standards across operations.

What your day will look like:
Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on machine components to detect surface and subsurface defects
Select appropriate testing methods in line with industry standards
Compile detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate job records
Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and stakeholders




Operate and maintain specialised NDT equipment
Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and compliance requirements

To be successful:
Level 2 Certification in:
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Strong ability to interpret technical documents and produce clear reports
Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Confident communication skills with the ability to engage small teams
A proactive approach to safety and teamwork

Desirable:
High Risk Work Licence – Forklift
