We are a growing boutique chartered accounting firm seeking an experienced and capable Senior Bookkeeper to join our collaborative accounting team.

This role is ideal for a professional bookkeeper who enjoys building strong client relationships, takes pride in accurate and timely work, and wants the flexibility of either school-hour part time work or full-time employment.

You will work closely with our managers and accounting team, supporting a broad range of business clients across multiple industries.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and compliance matters for a portfolio of clients, including:
End-to-end bookkeeping
Payroll processing and STP reporting
BAS and IAS preparation
Bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable
Xero and cloud accounting support
Assisting clients with bookkeeping queries and process improvements
Liaising with accountants and managers to support client outcomes

About You

We are looking for someone who is:




An experienced senior bookkeeper with solid Australian bookkeeping knowledge
Confident preparing BAS and managing STP obligations
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Experienced with Xero (preferred) and cloud-based systems
Professional, proactive and client-focused
Comfortable working independently while also being part of a supportive team
A strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
