Key Responsibilities
Maintain parks, gardens, sports fields, and open spaces
Plant, prune, mulch, and water garden beds and landscapes
Operate horticultural equipment including mowers, whipper snippers, hedgers, and blowers
Assist with landscape improvements and beautification projects
Perform litter collection, weed management, and general grounds maintenance




Safely operate council vehicles and equipment

To Be Successful, You Will Have
Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent)
Experience in parks, gardens, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
Current White Card
Solid understanding of safe work practices
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Current driving licence

Desirable
MR Truck Licence or higher
Experience operating ride-on mowers and other horticultural machinery
Chemical application certification (AQF3)
