Role DescriptionThis full-time, in office Junior Solicitor role is based at our office in Gold Coast, QLD. The Junior Solicitor will assist in drafting legal documents, advising clients, conducting research, and managing family law matters including separation, divorce, and parenting arrangements. The role also involves liaising with clients, attending hearings, and collaborating with team members to develop legal strategies tailored to each case.
QualificationsStrong understanding of Family Law, including separation, divorce,



parenting arrangements, and related legal issuesExcellent communication, negotiation, and client management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentPrior experience in legal practice or family law is preferred but not essentialAdmission as a solicitor in Queensland or eligibility to practise in QueenslandA current practising certificate, or the ability to obtain one0–2 years PAE, preferably with some exposure to family lawStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood attention to detail and file management habitsA calm and respectful manner with clients experiencing stressful personal circumstancesA willingness to learn, receive feedback and develop your legal skillsSound judgment, confidentiality and professionalismAn interest in working in a boutique, values-led family law firm
