Job Description

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure effective service and smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a skilled kitchen setting.




Support less experienced team members when required.

Shift Details (subject to change):
Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
No split shifts required
Shifts may include breakfast, lunch, and dinner services (dinner closes at 7.45pm)

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $36.81 per hour
Saturday: $44.18 per hour
Sunday: $51.54 per hour
