Following a significant renovation, this up-to-date community pub offers a quality food and beverage experience, engaging events and a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. The business is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the venue through its next phase of growth.

Job Description

As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the venue's operational and commercial performance. You will lead a large, diverse team while maintaining high standards across food, beverage, events, guest experience and financial management.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading, developing and mentoring the venue's management and operational teams
Driving revenue, profitability and cost control across all departments
Overseeing food, beverage, events and entertainment operations
Maintaining exceptional service, presentation, compliance and safety standards
Building strong relationships with the local community, suppliers and key stakeholders

Candidate Profile





The successful candidate will be a commercially minded hospitality leader with proven experience managing a high-volume pub, hotel or multi-outlet venue. You will bring a visible leadership style, solid financial capability and a genuine commitment to team development and guest experience.

You will demonstrate:
Previous experience as a General Manager or senior venue leader
Robust knowledge of pub, food, beverage and events operations
Gaming experience
Proven experience managing budgets, labour, revenue and profitability
The ability to recruit, motivate and retain high-performing teams
Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills

Offer

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience, along with the opportunity to lead a newly renovated venue in a highly desirable Sunshine Coast location.
