More Life Care is a registered NDIS provider looking for an experienced female support worker to provide in-home care for a participant with complex support needs.
This position is open to female applicants only, as a genuine occupational requirement under equal opportunity legislation, due to the participant's need for privacy and dignity during personal care and hygiene support.
What you'll be doing:
Full assistance with personal hygiene, including showering and dressing
Manual handling and protected transfers using a hoist and sling
Supporting daily living tasks and routines
Working calmly and confidently with a participant with complex needs
Explicit, respectful communication with the participant and other support staff
About you:
Confident and competent using a hoist for transfers (non-negotiable)
Strong manual handling skills and experience with complex clients
Comfortable and experienced with personal care,
including showering
Excellent communication skills — calm, explicit, and respectful
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable, professional, and experienced in disability or complex care settings
