We are seeking an experienced Freight Officer to join a yard operations team based in Perth. This hands-on role involves safely handling, securing, and tracking freight across the yard and dispatch process.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate counterbalance forklifts (up to 16T)
Handle general, palletised, oversize and irregular freight
Secure loads using ratchet straps, chains and binders in line with the Load Restraint Guide
Scan and track freight throughout all stages of movement
Use RF scanners
About You:
Valid forklift licence with proven experience in a similar role
Previous experience handling oversize freight (desirable)
Solid load restraint knowledge and experience (including straps, chains, and binders)
Team-focused with a solid safety mindset
RF scanner experience (highly regarded)
