About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in Blackheath.
You'll bring your experience and knowledge in Acquired Brain Injuries, supporting Monday to Friday with shifts between 9am to 1pm.
In this role, you’ll need to be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding. A robust listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you’ll be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.
No two days are the same! Your support might look like:
Getting out into the community to do activities the clients enjoyHelping prepare easy, nutritious mealsProviding transport and mobility assistanceHelping out with a few light cleaning jobs around the home when neededAssist with medication management
What You’ll Need
NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCCFirst Aid and CPRValid drivers licence and your own reliable, insured carWillingness to complete all client-specific training before you begin (we’ll guide you through it)
