Our client is a well-established Australian food manufacturer specialising in the production and supply of quality food products to customers across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production environment with the potential for ongoing work for the right person.
The Role
Working as a Warehouse/ Storeperson , you will play an important role in supporting the production team by ensuring raw materials are correctly staged and finished products are efficiently stored.

Pay Rate: $40 per hour
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Immediate commencement
Your key responsibilities will include:
Staging raw materials ready for production
Picking and preparing ingredients/materials for production runs
Putting away finished goods into the appropriate chiller or freezer
Moving stock safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
Ensuring stock is stored correctly and accurately
Completing relevant warehouse documentation and inventory checks
Maintaining a clean, organised and secure work environment
Following all food safety, workplace health and safety procedures
Working closely with the production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required
Training: You will initially commence on the day shift, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday to complete your training and become fully competent in the role. Once training has been successfully completed, you will transition to the 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm afternoon shift.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson or staging role
Ideally has experience within a food manufacturing or production workplace
Holds a current Forklift Licence
Is comfortable working in chilled and freezer settings
Has good attention to detail and accuracy
Can safely handle and move stock and raw materials
Is reliable, punctual and committed to Monday–Friday work
Can follow procedures and work effectively as part of a team
Understands the importance of food safety and workplace safety
Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
