At Liontown Resources, our Kathleen Valley operation is moving confidently into full-scale production. Following our recent capital raise and significant investment in growth, we’re expanding our technical teams to support the long-term success of the mine.
What You’ll Be Doing
Day to day run of the core yard, leading the Geology Technicians, liaising with the drillers, and taking responsibility for the stores.
Collection, orientation and markup of core from Grade Control Drilling.
Accurate and secure sampling of geological core, using a core saw to cut core ready for sample dispatch.
Collection of and recording accurate geological and geochemical data.
Maintenance of tools and equipment for the Technical Services team, including stock takes, cleaning and stocking of laydown areas and containers.
Secure operation of a forklift/ telehandler to move core and samples.
What We Are Looking For
C Class license.
Senior First Aid (desirable).
Forklift/ telehandler tickets.
Previous experience in a production geology workplace highly regarded.
Previous team leadership experience.
Moderate computer literacy skills, e.g. Excel and Acquire highly regarded.
Ability to meet site requirements, including a current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain), pre-employment medical, and drug & alcohol screen.
