We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Sales Assistant to join the team at our Forty Winks store in Minyama, QLD on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This is a full-time position where weekend work is required as we are a 7 day a week business. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients as they shop for furniture and bedding.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
Demonstrating product features and benefits to help customers find the perfect items
Maintaining an organised and visually appealing store environment
Processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments
Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the furniture or bedding industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and cash handling
Adaptable and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised store environment
