About the Role
We are seeking experienced Civil Labourers and Plant Operators to join a major Sewage Treatment Plant construction project in Charmhaven, NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled civil workers with experience in infrastructure, earthworks and utilities construction. You will work alongside experienced supervisors and operators to support the delivery of critical water infrastructure works while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support construction activities across a large-scale sewage treatment plant project
Perform civil labouring duties including excavation, trenching, backfilling and compaction
Assist with installation of underground services, drainage, pipelines and civil structures
Support concrete, formwork and reinforcement activities
Operate rollers and assist with plant operations as required
Carry out site preparation, earthworks and general civil construction activities
Use hand and power tools including compactors, jackhammers and drills
Load,
unload and move materials, tools and equipment around site
Maintain clean and protected work areas
Participate in pre-start meetings and follow SWMS and site safety procedures
About You
Current Construction White Card
Previous experience working on civil construction projects
Experience on water infrastructure, sewer, utilities or treatment plant projects highly regarded
Roller operating experience desirable
Ability to read and follow site instructions and safety procedures
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Reliable, safety focused and able to work effectively within a team
