Role
As an Arborist, you'll work alongside an experienced crew carrying out a variety of tree care and vegetation management services throughout the Mackay region.
Your duties will include
Tree removal, pruning, trimming and general tree maintenance
Climbing and aerial tree work where required
Stump grinding and site clean‐up
Operating chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, EWP's and other arboricultural equipment
Identifying tree hazards and maintaining safe work practices
Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Working collaboratively with your team while maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety

About You
Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Arborist
Proven climbing and aerial tree work experience
Current Driver Licence (MR/HR licence highly regarded)
White Card
Chainsaw competency/licence
Aerial Rescue qualification
Tree Hazard & Risk Assessment experience
Utility vegetation management experience (highly regarded)
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Excellent communication skills and a positive, team‐focused attitude
Self‐motivated, reliable, and well organised
