Grandalfs is expanding.

Following the success of our flagship restaurant, we're opening Grandalfs Express at Elizabeth City Centre and are looking for an experienced Sous Chef / Senior Cook to help lead the kitchen from day one.

This isn't just another kitchen job. You'll play a key role in establishing a brand-new store, building systems, training staff and delivering fast, high-quality food every service.

About the Role

Working alongside management, you'll be responsible for:

Leading the kitchen during service

Preparing and cooking food to Grandalfs' standards

Maintaining speed, consistency and presentation

Training and mentoring kitchen team members

Managing food safety, cleanliness and organisation

Assisting with stock control and ordering

Helping drive a positive and qualified kitchen culture

Maintaining high standards during busy lunch and dinner periods

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Senior Cook or experienced line cook

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent organisation and attention to detail





Pride in producing consistent, quality food

Understanding of food safety and kitchen operations

Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic

Experience in burgers, quick-service restaurants or high-volume kitchens will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
