Wharf One Food & Wine, located in the stunning Darwin Waterfront, is offering an exceptional chance for a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our agile team.
Position Overview:
As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. Your responsibilities encompass ensuring effective restaurant operation, maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
We are seeking an individual with robust management skills and front-of-house experience capable of overseeing the venue, engaging with customers, and efficiently managing seating capacity. Leading by example, you will uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
Recognized university degree in Restaurant Management or Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Minimum of three (3)
years of relevant management experience in branded a la carte restaurants.
Demonstrated experience in training, development, leading, and guiding staff.
Ability to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommending appropriate solutions to operational issues.
Availability to work shifts over a 7-day roster consisting of lunch and dinner shifts.
Wages:
Based on Restaurant Industry Award 2026 Standards.
Full-Time: Salary based on a minimum of 38 hours per week. Holiday and personal leave accrued pro-rata, with salary determined by the level of experience.
