Your current company Hays are partnering with a large Victorian Government Department who play a critical role in delivering services across the public sector. The organisation is continuing to strengthen its payroll capability and is seeking multiple experienced SAP Success Factors payroll professionals to join its collaborative and fast-paced team.
Your new role
Joining a specialist payroll team supporting a large and complex workforce, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations while contributing to payroll system testing, validation and improvement activities.
Responsibilities may include:
End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing using SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
Payroll reconciliation, validation and quality assurance activities
Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and compliance obligations
Payroll testing, documentation and user acceptance testing support
Processing complex payroll transactions and responding to payroll enquiries
Supporting payroll reporting, data remediation and system enhancements
Managing high volumes of payroll requests and maintaining payroll data integrity
What you’ll need to succeed
Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing
Solid hands-on SAP Success Factors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience
Experience conducting payroll testing, validation and documentation
Proven experience processing payroll for medium to large employee populations
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet critical payroll deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage high-volume workloads within a complex setting
Highly regarded
Previous Victorian Government or public sector payroll experience
Exposure to payroll system implementations, migrations or transformation projects
What you get in return
Hourly rate commencing at $63.82 + Super (ability to increase rate depending on experience)
