Role details

The Proserpine Hospital is seeking applications for an Administration Officer (Receptionist) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your chance

This position is primarily responsible for the provision of administrative tasks and support to all clinical staff on the Main Reception at Proserpine Hospital. As such it carries a diverse range of administrative tasks and requires a high level of competency, autonomy, professionalism and the ability to work quickly whilst under pressure.

This temporary part time position will be required to work Monday's and will be required for additional rostered hours to backfill extended periods of leave.

About The Team

The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of two facilities:



The Community Health Campus – Cannonvale and the Hospital Campus – Proserpine. The hospital is a 33-bed acute hospital, which offers a number of specialty inpatient and outpatient services.

The Community Health Campus offers a range of Community Health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team.
