Job Description
End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payrolls
Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
Managing superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation, and statutory reporting obligations
Processing current starters, terminations, leave calculations, and payroll adjustments
Resolving payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner
Maintaining employee records and ensuring data integrity within payroll systems
Assisting with payroll reconciliations and month-end activities
Supporting audits and compliance requirements
Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
Providing support and guidance to junior payroll team members where required
The Successful Applicant
Robust end-to-end payroll processing experience within a medium to large-scale organisation
Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements
Experience using payroll systems
High attention to detail and exceptional accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
