Our Federal government client is seeking a pragmatic, adaptable, and solutions-oriented Communications and Change Officer to play a key role in delivering a major digital initiative. Canberra based
Hybrid working arrangement (mix of WFH and in Office).
Australian citizens with an active Baseline clearance
Paxus pays weekly.
What you will do
Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support digital transformation initiatives
Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption of recent technologies and processes
Engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders to maintain transparent and timely communication
Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on communication and change activities
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and change interventions
Required Skills
Proven experience in communication and change management within a government or large organisation
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to a range of audiences
Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills
Ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans
Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms
Nice to Have Skills
Experience working on digital transformation projects
Knowledge of regulatory or compliance frameworks
Experience in policy development
Familiarity with government procedures and frameworks
Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, change management, or a related field
Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role
Other Requirements
Current security clearance or ability to obtain one
