We are looking for a registered nurse to join our supportive clinical team to assist in providing excellent primary care to the local community.
The successful candidate will report to the Practice Manager.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality clinical nursing services to patients.
Assist doctors with consultations, treatments, and procedures.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and wound care as required.
Provide health education and advice to patients on a range of health issues.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
Lead and mentor nursing staff to support qualified growth and consistent care delivery.
Contribute to the development and review of nursing policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
Participate in practice accreditation and other complaince.
Skills and Experience
Robust clinical skills - some experience in General Practice is desirable.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and qualified approach.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
Recalls and Reminder management using software systems.
Working knowledge of Best Practice software.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Experience working as a registered nurse in a GP setting for two years or more is desirable.
