We are seeking an experiencedFitter & Turnerto join our team.
While we highly value deep experience inConventional Lathes & Mills, we are specifically looking to attract an individual withGear Cutting experience(or a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn all aspects of the gear cutting trade).
This role is ideal for a trade person who is looking for a career change, or a recently retired Gear Cutting Machinist looking to bring their valuable expertise back into a productive, supportive workshop.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a general engineering environment.
Machining Skills:Proven proficiency operating conventional lathes, mills, and gear cutting machinery.
Technical Literacy:Ability to comprehensively read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings & samples.
Precision:Flawless use of measuring instruments with a strong command of bothmetric and imperialmeasurements.
Qualifications:A trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering) is highly preferred, though applicants with equivalent industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Work Ethic:A skilled attitude, a high standard of self-motivation to work unsupervised, and a strict commitment to OHS standards.
