The role
You'll carry out advanced climbing and arboricultural work as part of an experienced crew, including pruning, removals and technical dismantling.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Advanced tree pruning,
removals and sectional dismantling
· Operating chainsaws, climbing systems, rigging equipment and EWPs
· Assessing trees, worksites and potential hazards before work begins
· Coordinating closely with ground crews to keep sites safe and efficient
· Inspecting and maintaining climbing equipment, tools and machinery
· Supporting traffic management and site safety requirements
· Sharing your knowledge and helping less-experienced crew members develop
What you'll bring
You'll be an experienced climber who is reliable, has a good attitude and a strong work ethic.
You'll need:
· Demonstrated experience as a climbing arborist
· Certificate III in Arboriculture or higher
· Solid chainsaw, climbing and rigging skills
· Experience working at heights and completing aerial rescue
· EWP qualification
· Construction White Card
· Current C Class driver's licence
· MR or HR licence (preferred)
· The ability to obtain a National Police Check
· Australian working rights
