About us
Koori Constructions is a building and carpentry company based on the Central Coast, working across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter.
We deliver residential renovations, extensions, new builds, granny flats, decks, pergolas and outdoor structures, alongside commercial, government, health, education and defence projects.
We're growing fast and we need someone to own our quoting from first call to signed contract.
The role
You're the first point of contact for every new lead, and you carry the job all the way to a professional, accurate quote in the client's hands:
Contact new leads within the hour and book the site visit
Attend site measure-ups across the region and scope the works
Build the estimate in Buildxact — takeoff-linked, accurate, on our rates
Design and quote outdoor structures in Stratco's design software
Send smaller renovation quotes within 24 hours; larger jobs promptly
Keep leads, bookings, quotes and follow-ups organised
Advise clients on options, inclusions and value — and win the work
About you (essential)
Proven experience estimating/quoting residential building and carpentry work
Confident using Buildxact
Strong all-round knowledge of building, carpentry and construction, and the trades involved
Able to quote bathrooms, laundries, kitchens, interior & exterior, decks, pergolas, carports, outdoor structures, renovations,



extensions, granny flats, additions and recent builds
Solid working knowledge of the National Construction Code / Australian Standards
Genuine sales and people skills — you build rapport and you close
Current driver's licence + reliable, business-insured car (company ute provided after probation)
White Card (Construction Induction)
Based in or near the Central Coast / Newcastle / Lake Macquarie / Hunter
Bonus points
Stratco design software (or similar structure-design programs)
Commercial estimating experience
Trade-qualified — Cert III in Carpentry (licensed carpenter) and/or Cert IV in Building & Construction or Building Project Support (Estimating), Diploma of Building & Construction, or a builder's licence — highly regarded
Xero / CRM familiarity
What we offer
$90k–$105k base + 12% super, depending on experience
Commission on every job you win + a quarterly margin bonus — realistic OTE $125k+
Signwritten company ute + fuel card on completion of probation (per-km allowance + fuel card during probation)
